Addictions
November 15, 2008Whenever I want to take a break there are a few websites I like to check up on. The intention is to only check them out for a minute or so, but I always end up on them forever.
Facebook: This is one that I tell everyone I hate and "the only reason I signed up for it was because my brother asked me to, but I don't actually use it". Yet, I always find myself logging and seeing what people are up to, or reading what comments they've posted. And I always tell people how lame FB is... but I may be it's biggest fan...
Puppy Website: My friend e-mailed me this site about a week or so ago and it has been open in my browser ever since. At first I was like "what is this???". But now Justin and myself are always checking in to see what the puppies are up to (which is usually sleeping) and can't seem to stop commenting on how cuuuuuuuute they are. If you are at work or have anything you need to get done, I don't recommend clicking on this site (but you have to, they're so cute!!!)
People.com: When I was working, no matter what pressing matters there were, I would not start the day without checking up on the hottest celeb stories and looking at all the new photos. Now that I'm not working in an office anymore, I still start my day by checking up on daily celebrity news.
Blogs: I will check one person's blog, and then check on another person's by clicking on their blog roll, and another, and repeat. Before I know it I'm reading about people who I've never even met! But it's so interesting and I know I'm not the only one.
