London Day 2!
September 17, 2010We hit a lot of London’s historic landmarks today. Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and Trafalgar Square. Westminster was closed because the Pope came to London today, and would be doing his service at Westminster.
After hitting those places we went to St. Paul’s Cathedral. We weren’t allowed to take photos inside, which we were bummed about, but we did end up getting some great photos inside of St. Bride’s Church, a church we came across on our walk around town today.
We did so much walking. Our feet are killing us, but it was totally worth it! Here are some of my faves from today.
Westminster Abbey
Justin about to take a pic of Westminster.
I don’t remember what building this was. We were about to cross a street and I looked up and saw it.
Westminster Palace.
Big Ben. I didn’t really know what Big Ben was until today. It’s the bell inside this clock.
Buckingham Palace.
My dad loves Sherlock Holmes. So when we saw the Sherlock Holmes restaurant, we had to eat there.

GREAT photos! Looks like you guys are having a lot of fun. It doesn't look like it's raining on you too much, which is nice! Sorry you missed Westminster Abbey...it's pretty cool inside.
