Sundays have become one of our favorite days. The girls get dressed up so cute, we got to church and see so many friends, and see the girls singing songs like "Jesus Loves Me", and seeing Gemma start to sing along with so many songs in cradle roll, (along with one or both of them having a breakdown in service sending all of us back to the nursery), and then we come home, the girls take a quick nap, and we meet Justin's family for an early dinner. It's always great when Honey Gram and Grampy can join us. They were heading back to MI early the next morning, so they got to be there for a full Sunday.

Gweneth had been talking about her party for months! She has been so excited to celebrate with her friends and have them sing "Happy Birthday" to her! She's very excited to be turning 3! We had her party at Giggles n' Hugs in Glendale.



We saved the small chocolate cake to eat at home.

Gweneth has a lot of favorite movies, but Pocahontas is definitely at the top. She asked for a Pocahontas cake (and John Smith had to be on it, she mentions him all the time). My mom did an awesome job of making two Pocahontas cakes.



This one the ornament sang. Gweneth loved pushing the little button and listening to it.



My mom got so many compliments on the cake, it was so cute to see Gweneth look at it (my mom mad her cross her arms so she wouldn't smoosh the cake).

Gweneth has a "Max the Doggie" from IKEA, and Gemma has grown to love it. So my mom and dad wanted to go and get her one of her own. And they both got pandas. On the way out we got ice cream. Justin helped Gemma along by taking a bite and she lost it!



My dad got to go with us for Gemma's very first day at My Gym! She loved it!



My parents stayed at a nearby hotel, which had a pool and some fun games on one of the levels, including a life-sized game of chess.
