Gemma's Milestones
July 24, 2017July 19, 2017 - 3.5 months - started to roll on side (and rolled more and more each day!)
Aug. 20, 2017 / 4.5 months - rolled over! I was getting ready for church so I put her in her crib under her mobile. I went in to check on her and she had rolled over!
6 Months
Gemma rolls over from front to back, back to front. She's the most smiley baby ever, always smiling and laughing, she's so adorable. And super chunky, just like Gweneth was. She wears mainly 12 - 18 month. She does not sleep through the night, waking up for a bottle around 10pm, 3am and 5:45am, and then gets up for the day between 6:50 - 7:40.
7 Months
Up on all fours / scooting around / practically crawling
Sitting up all by herself (will go from laying down to sitting up, totally sturdy)
9 Months
She started pulling herself up a few weeks ago, and she's just starting to furniture surf. She finally has some teeth coming in, three on the bottom. She babbles all the time and today (Jan. 24, 2018) she said "dada". She also started giving kisses, which is the cutest thing ever.
11 Months
She's standing so solid and has even taken a step or two while holding onto something. She has four teeth on the bottom and none on top. She's so sweet and laughs all the time. She's a great napper, napping hours at a time. She babbles and it seems like she says "dada" or "mama".
First Clap - February 27th, 2018
1 YEAR
Standing on her own
Points to her ear when you ask "where's your ear?"
13 Months
She is so adorable! Her eyes are so big, she's getting so much hair and she has such a sweet smile. She laughs all the time and really looks like a one year old. She's on milk, which has her sleeping much better through the night (still ding a bottle around 10:30 and midnight), and she eats pretty much whatever we put on her tray. She's standing and furniture surfing, and could walk if she wanted to. She goes along with whatever Gweneth is doing. They crack each other up, as well as wanting whatever the other has. She loves to drink water out of a sippy cup.
14 Months
Her personality seems to grow every day. She is so cute. She is super smiley, wakes up super happy, and is just adorable with Justin. She says "Daaaaaaaaaady" when she sees him. She is more and more snuggly.
She does the cutest thing, she says "yeah" really fast when you ask her a question. "Do you want a bottle?" "yeah".
Her hair is growing so fast and has all these little curls. She's a pretty good eater. She'll eat whatever we put in front of her, for breakfast she usually has eggs and yogurt, lunch is generally chicken nuggets and some more yogurt or apple sauce, and then dinner is whatever we're having. Her main food though is still milk.
She loves to dance! Anytime music comes on she bops around so much. It's adorable.
16 Months
She's been walking for about 6 weeks now. And she's starting to speak a lot. She says "pease" for please when she wants more food, she says "bess you" when someone sneezes, and has her version of "thank you". Her favorite word is "Daaaaady!" and she says "Mamma", too. She will try to repeat whatever word you tell her.
She loves to sing. She sings along with most songs, especially the Bubble Guppies theme song (she loves Bubble Guppies). If a song talks about clapping, she will clap. She is growing more curly hair every day and is super smiley and just an adorable sweet heart.

22 Months
Counting
She counts 1 - 10 no problem, and is starting to do 10 - 20.

She's learning, but usually if you ask her what color something is she says "red".
Shapes
She's really catching on to shapes and knows most of them, especially circle, square and triangle.
Words
- Blankets - "blankies"
Phrases
- I love you "I yove you!"
She repeats all the phrases Gweneth says with the same inflection "I don't want to!", "that's not fair!" and she always says "what you doing?".
23 Months
- Counts to 10 easy, 20 with help
- Knows uppercase alphabet, some lowercase
- Is speaking really well. She says full sentences and says funny things like "no problem", "can you help me?", "I want down". She still says "I wove you!" in the cutest way. She always says "please" and "thank you" and will say "no thanks" if she doesn't want something.
- Knows her colors
She loves Baby Liam
If you give her something she says "thank you!"
If you tell her "thank you" she says "no problem"
2 Years
Gemma is speaking so much! She says more every day and says little sentences. She says "I wuv you!" all the time. She refers to Gweneth as "Gemma", even though she knows Gweneth's name and her own name.
July 2019 (2 years 4 months)
She can climb out of her crib, but only did it one night and since we've told her not to she hasn't. There's still one rung lower we can put the mattress, so we'll do that.
She's seen Gweneth using the potty, so she asks to use it a lot. It's super cute. She sits on the potty, does nothing, grabs some toilet paper and then says "I did it!", and she's super excited.
They're not supposed to say "gosh", "stupid", or "yuck", so they keep either saying it, or telling me when the other one, or someone on TV says it.
