Because our wedding was in California, a lot of family couldn't make it. So we had a reception in Michigan! And a few days before that reception we had a family reunion! Family came from all over the country. Everyone in these photos are family, whether by blood or by just being super close to all of us. It was such a blessing to be with everyone!!!



A lot of time was spent in my parent's backyard. My mom is an amazing cook. And she cooks for an army, so there was no lack of food!

We spent a day at the cider mill. A place that, if you grew up here, you miss it when you're gone. During the fall they have fresh donuts, but during the summer, it's ice cream! :)



Whenever I'm home we got to the scone place (Just Delicious Scones). It's this ridiculously amazing place in Roseville. The owner makes the best scones I've ever had. And then she has a shelf with tons of different kind of tea, and you just try all the tea you want.



Atwater Village is a new German place in Grosse Pointe.
