If there is a song I hate more than "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay", I can't think of it. At work I listen to KOST FM, CA's favorite easy listening station. It's really the only option because I'm not the only one in the office and KOST, after all, is the only station everyone in your office can agree on. And that's fine, except when I hear the SOTDOTB (wow) warning sound-the ten minutes of waves at the beginning of the song-and I know it's coming, and as soon as he starts singing my stomach is in my throat, and I basically want to throw myself- or better yet, Ottis Redding- out of the window (or, to be more appropriate, off the side of the dock of the bay). And although this is a daily intolerable experience, it all works out because shortly after that the "Pina Colada" song comes on and reminds me that it is a good easy listening station after all (and that if I ever find my relationship hum drum I should just take out an ad in the local paper... I do love Pina Coladas...)

Oh well, at least it has a STELLAR music video to make up for it
