Dear Lawsons, Please Move to California
July 03, 2013One of my best friend's, Ginger, and her adorable daughter Cali, and her mom (a second mom to me!) Linda came out to visit last week! It was so great to have them out here!!! They got to come to church with us, we went to Disney Land, showed them Hollywood... I loved when Cali would want to "hold Justin's hand" or have me "hold her leash" hehe. She's so cute!
Here we are at church. I've mentioned our friend Paul has been an animator at Disney for over 50 years. He drew her a Mickey Mouse, and at her request, also drew her a Goofy!
Disney Land! Ginger had booked Cali an appointment at the Bippity Boppity Boo Boutique. They transform little girls into princesses, and their family, or "Royal Family" gets to watch!
Here she is getting ready to get her makeup on (that face!) and getting her hair turned into a royal bun. You can see Ginger, Linda and myself behind her in the mirror. Haha, she's so funny!
A little Jungle Safari...
Gyu Kaku is one of our favorite restaurants. It's a Japanese BBQ place where they bring you raw meat and veggies and you grill it all yourself. I always ask for a fork and a knife, but Justin is skilled at chop sticks. Cali saw him using them and she started using them herself!
We also saw some robot dancers (there are always random performers on Hollywood Blvd.), and she was fascinated! She "robot danced" the rest of the night.
Cali had never been to the ocean before, and she seemed to really like it. On their last night in town, we took them up to the Griffith Park Observatory. It has such an awesome view of the city, and at night it's gorgeous.
Thanks Linda, Ginger and Cali for such an amazing time! Miss you already!!!
