We walked down to the Hollywood Bowl on the fourth. They do a fireworks show there (all week, actually), and while it's $13 a ticket to get in to the concert (it's Josh Groban this year) and and stay for the fire works, it's free to walk up to the picnic area towards the end of the concert to check out the fireworks show. And that's what we did. It's such a great show, it reminds me of what my mom always says is her favorite part of fireworks, when a ton go off all at once.

Yesterday we all met up at Justin's dad's to do a family photo shoot. His mom has been wanting to do this for a while, and it was great to hang out with everyone. There's this great restaurant there called Highland Springs Resort. We love the food, but I also love the decor. It looks like old and lodge-y mixed with a current, hipper style. We took a few iPhone photos while waiting for our table.
