I've mentioned before how I discovered - after the series was completely over - how awesome the OCD detective series Monk is. With the re-runs playing all over the place, we decided we wanted to see the series in order.

We've ordered and got through four seasons, and will get Season 5 tomorrow. We are obsessed. We talk about how it's the best show ever created, written, acted... we love it!!!

We've been watching 3-5 episodes at a time. For the past few weeks my dreams have consisted of Monk episodes. Justin and I compare things we see to Monk, and talk about how he would handle situations. We sincerely miss Sharona, Monk's first assistant. I had the Monk theme song as my ringer, until I realized I'd probably associate that song with needing to answer my phone, so I changed it.

Also, did you know that Captain Stottlemeyer used to be Buffalo Bill? And that Monk's new assistant Natalie was on "Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place"? And that Sharona was in "A League of their Own"???

It's a jungle out there.
