I passed the toy section while in Target today, and I couldn't help but check it out. I was looking at a few of the items when I came across the Barbie section. When I was growing up I LOVED Barbies. It's all I wanted for Christmas, Birthdays (well, that and Care Bares). As I was looking at the Barbies I noticed they've brought back some vintage selections, and I couldn't believe my eyes! Peaches and Cream Barbie!!! I had one when I was younger and I had forgotten about her but as soon as I saw it, it all came back! I remembered the texture of her dress exactly, the color, the way it flowed, how I thought it was so pretty. She was so awesome. I wanted to buy it, but did not. I snapped a few pics in the store, I think a Target employee was looking at me. I've also included the original Peaches and Cream commercial.

I came across another childhood toy, My Little Pony. How awesome is that toy??? Again, I forgot how much I loved it until I saw it, and then, again, I wanted to buy one right then and there! They are so cute and so pretty with their colorful manes and tails, I love them. It was only $5.99, but what would I do with it? I also noticed how they looked different from when I was a kid (although I doubt that If I hold a MLP in one hand, a feather duster in the other and jump off the couch, like I did when I was a kid, that I will fly just like them...) but they look more stylish? Younger? I don't know, but they are cool. Here is an 80's version and a current version, followed up by a 1980's My Little Pony commercial.
