Gweneth's Nursery
January 19, 2016
My mom and I put together Gweneth's Nursery, and I just love it. My mom had painted it when she was out here in August. The plan was to finish it when she came back in September (close to a month before Gweneth's due date), but Gweneth came early and we were changing her diaper on a garbage bag and a towel.

The fabric garland about the changing table was from the baby shower my mom threw in Michigan. She made it by hand!

The rocking horse is from Justin's mom, and it looks so perfect in the corner. The chair is very special. It's from Linda. She wanted to have something we could rock and love on our baby in, so she told us to pick whatever she wanted. It's such a sweet gift, and we think of her every time we see it.
I love the "Gweneth" bunny print from Land of Nod. It's the first personalized thing we ordered for her. We had gone to some estate sales and found cheap frames. We painted this one yellow.

The "Trees" print is from IKEA, and the "ABC" print was something my mom found at the Country Living Fair in Nashville.

My mom had shipped out the three gold frames above her bed, and then we filled them with some fabric I had here. The two prints are from Rifle Paper and the frames are painted frames we found at estate sales for a few bucks!

Another Land of Nod print on the right with a Hobby Lobby frame.

The "NEST" letters were also from the MI shower. My mom shipped them here, and then we found a sketchy alley way and spray painted them gold. She had also shipped out the little paper flowers we added on to them.

The paper and feather garland was another MI shower decoration that my mom had made.

One of the other super special pieces in Gweneth's room is the quilt my Gram made for her. It's so beautiful, and Gweneth loves to look at it when we're sitting in the chair (it's usually hanging over the back of it).
