I have to give a HUGE thank you to my mom for putting on the most gorgeous, thoughtful and creative wedding shower there ever was!

Last week we had our first bridal shower, and it was awesome. My mom has been planning it for months, and worked on it for weeks. She transformed our church foyer in to a gorgeous, upscale area, where guests drank punch out of hand picked vintage punch cups, had cheese and crackers with the cutest cheese knives ever, and had an amazing homemade dinner (continental chicken, mashed potatoes, baby steamed carrots with apricot preserves, kale salad and rolls!). My mom also made my favorite chocolate cherry wine cookies, her sugar cookies, short bread (thanks Linda!), and got some amazing cannolis!

I also have to give a huge thank you to Kathy Treece and Linda Lawson, a.k.a. my mom's side kicks. They helped my mom bring her vision to life with tons of hard work! Thank you!!! Also, a big thank you to Peggy Bonbrisco, Nancy Westerman and Rhonda Andreski, and Bev and Bob Blair for all of your help! And of course, a big thank you to my dad!

Also, thank you to my Michigan bridesmaids, Ginger, Amy and Suzy! Your help during the shower was greatly appreciated! And to my CA bridesmaids, you were missed!

It was so great to see everyone, and we were blown away with all of the generosity, love and support! Thank you everyone who came out!

I wasn't able to fully capture the shower like I would normally capture an event, you know, since I was a tad busy! But I did have my iPhone with me and was able to photograph some of the details! But these do not do the shower justice!

My mom had lit candles everywhere! She had tons of them at the entrance and then on all of the tables! She also hand made some gorgeous fans!
 

There's an antique shop we love, and she found all of these vintage punch cups! She bought them just for this shower! They were so adorable!



My Aunt Nancy, Uncle Mike and then our cousins Karsten and Austin totally surprised us and came up from Nashville for the shower!!! We were so excited and it was so special to have them there!!! Thank you so much for making the trip!
