Dad's Birthday Week // Day 5 & 6 // The Beach, Wine Tasting & Dinner at The Old Cornell
March 21, 2013Day 5 was a loungey day. We relaxed most of the afternoon, shopped a bit and went to dinner at the Beachwood Cafe!
Day 6 we headed to the beach! We always bring out-of-towners to see the ocean, and this beach is our fave. After that we went to try out a new restaurant, The Old Place, in Malibu. First we did a little wine tasting next door at Cornell (where my mom also bought a ton of really interesting chocolate!), and then we ate dinner. The Old Place used to be the Post Office like, a hundred years ago. Everything in the restaurant is original. It had tons of character, very pioneer days feeling. They had great food and the best lemon meringue pie!!!
