So, I've had a string of bad Netflix, but I've finally had some good ones, and I highly recommend them. Justin and I watched "Once" last week. It's a really simple, genuine film. It's very original. It's kind of hard to understand what they're saying with their accents, so I recommend turning on the subtitles.

I had wanted to see "Stardust" when it was in the theatres, but Justin wasn't too excited about it, and it didn't do to well so I decided to wait till it came out on DVD. It was such a charming and again, original film. Very "Princess Bride" ish. I really enjoyed it.

So I know most people have seen "Extras" by now, but I don't get HBO, so. It's really great. The first few episodes I was like "this is way too uncomfortable", but it really grew on me. I finished watching the first season and I'm almost done with the second.

So next we went into the Smithsonian Natural History Museum. Inside is the Hope Diamond. And can I say, not impressed. I thought (because I had no idea what it was) that it was going to be this clear, three foot by three foot diamond guarded by like, a bunch of guards. But instead it was this mis-shapen blueish thing... I don't know, Justin disagreed with me, but, I just didn't see the big deal.

The Korean War Memorial is the most dramatic. They almost look alive and the expressions on their faces are so haunting. The picture does not do it justice.

My Uncle Jack (Great Uncle, my Grandma's brother) was in the air force and was buried in the Arlington Cemetery. So when my gram found out we were going to D.C. she told us where we could find where he's buried. I had no idea he had done so much. When we got to where he was buried on his headstone it listed all of the wars he was involved with. He served in World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. We also found out he was awarded many different medals and honors. His entire website is
